About Us

From an early age Romeo Stone started to dream big. Growing up in Compton Ca. the love of music was handed down from his parents who would promote parties at their Mar-Glad Banquet Hall in South Central Los Angeles. He first dreamed of being a professional boxer and was training at age nine at the Broadway Boxing Gym in South Central LA. along with older brother and neighborhood buddies. His family business of promoting parties was thriving and he was needed to Dj. The excitement of being the Dj led to learning piano, bass, guitar, drums and by age fifteen he was in the studio producing his funk/soul/new wave band Action Unit.

By age 19 Romeo graduated from Dick Grove School of Music, in Studio City Ca., quickly becoming a sought after producer, session musician, and engineer. Even at such a young age his musical genius and technical wizardry was recognized as he worked side by side with iconic R&B Producer/Artist Leon Sylvers, Evelyn Champagne King, El Debarge and the Good Girls.

Romeo made his rap artist debut with the top ten club anthem singles hit, "Comin' Out Ta Dog!" & "Doin' It The Cali Way" was added to the rotation on famed 1580 K-Day Radio Station in Los Angeles Ca., Video Jukebox, and Syndicated on DJ Nasty Ness "Rap Attack Lives Radio Show' across the nation. This was released on his own independent label Cali Way Records co-founded by his eldest brother Troy "Mc O' Roni" Rankins.

Working with multi platinum legendary producer Johny J (Tupac, Candyman, Snoop Doog) he would work in the studio providing his soulful bass, guitar and keyboard licks over Johnny's trendsetting Sp-1200 beat samples. Romeo went on to tour with Johnny J promoting his "I Gotta Be Me" Lp at Lowrider Magazine car shows.

Working as a staff producer at the Black Hole Recording Studio with multi platinum producer Kenny Mc Cloud (Bone Thugs N Harmony, Eazy E, Guru) he honed his craft while working with hip hop heavy weights Yuckmouth, Drew Down, Guru, and The Luniz to name a few.

As a burgeoning entreprenuer he launched his own Maid Service Franchise providing residential cleaning services for celebrity clients as John Cussck, Shaquille O'Neil, The Getty Family, and Trey Parker (Creator of South Park).
